The collaborations are targeted at the audience of the brand. The connection between brands and creators is determined by demographics, relevance, and engagement. Different from other advertisements (Facebook, Google), these YouTube sponsorships are promoted by a person that has built trust among his audience. Brands are able to use this powerful reputation to position their brand extremely well by the audience of the creator. These advertisements will be inside the video and therefore viewable for as long as the video is on YouTube, which could be many years!
