JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for seasonal heavy equipment operators with excellent customer service skills to operate and maintain heavy equipment.

M-F 8-5
Saturday 9-1

Opportunity to stay on past busy season.

DUTIES

Operate heavy equipment, including front-end loader

Perform routine equipment maintenance, such as fueling, lubricating and cleaning.

Maintain the property grounds.

Maintain landscape products and compost piles.

Assist suppliers with unloading incoming mulch, stone and other materials, including measuring and documenting received materials.

Assist retail customers in selecting and loading products.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience running and maintaining heavy equipment preferred.

Valid, current IN driver's license and good driving record required.

Knowledge of landscape products (mulch, topsoil) helpful.

Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills and experience.

Physical requirements include ability to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly, flexibility to climb in/out of large equipment, mobility to operate equipment and load various landscaping and other products.

We require the following pre-employment assessments: physical, drug and/or alcohol testing and criminal background check.
