The Parish Youth Day is a gathering of young people from all the GKKs under the jurisdiction of St.John the Baptist Quasi-Parish Church that contributes to the strengthening of youth ministry. The PYD provides opportunities for positive expression of our youth ministers’ desire to embrace Christ’s mission among the youth. It calls our youth ministers to be awakened to the realities and signs of our times, and to be more organized, involved and committed in the work of the Church. It is a celebration of the ministry among and with the youth!

The said solidarity camp will be filled with enlightening sessions and engaging activities designed to restore youth's faith to the Catholic Church and renew their love and obedience to Christ our God. This year's PYD theme is about "Courage from Faith" which is anchored from the Bible Verse, "Fear not, for God has heard the voice of the Youth where He is" (Genesis
21:17).

A big thank you to all people who have been working so hard to make this momentous event possible. To our almighty Creator,Lord thank you for sustaining us since day one of our preparations, To Fr. Nene thank you so much pads for allowing us to celebrate this kind of event, To Tita Pinky Eres my forever resbak thank you for all your efforts and greatness, To our Parish Pastoral Council, GKKs Officers Thank you for your Love and support from preparations into implementation. Special thanks to our generous Donors and Benefactors from Foods and to our other expenses Thank you for making easy and smooth during our preparation. To our 175 Delegates coming from the different GKK areas thank you thank you so much mga mahal see next year and to our future events. and Special thanks also to my multiverse PYD Facilitators thank you so much for time and effort rendered to our 2nd Parish Youth Day. 📣Calling the attention of our dear young People, Saint John The Baptist Quasi- Parish Youth Organization is thrilled and proud to announce that after almost a decade, finally we would be having our 2nd Parish Youth Day on October 7-8, 2023

29 GKK AREAS are required to send a maximum of 6 active youth members ages 15 - 30 years old for a thought-provoking plenary sessions, engaging workshops, exciting outdoor activities, and more! Hence, be ready for a 2 days meaningful camp that would bring hope and inspiration, open up new connections and reflections, and spark growth among the chosen youths.

Like Mary to the father's will, let us say yes and heed the call. Together with one heart and one mind, let us rediscover our christian values and relive our catholic teachings. Through solemn solidarity let us amplify our faith as servants of the Lord!🙌

As we celebrate the Season of Creation 2023 with the theme “Let Justice and Peace Flow (Amos 5:24)”.
We the St.John the Baptist Quasi-Parish Youth Organization with the collaboration of Sto. Niño Youth Organization conducted a Coastal Clean up Drive 2023 held at Sitio Pandanan Coastal Area the said event was participated by 112 selected delegates . The activity started with a prayer lead by Rev. Faustino and Giving of Words of Gratitude by our Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Vicente S. Seva.

Thank you for your contribution to the reduction of plastic pollution and the prevention of harm to marine life. Let us embody our shared responsibility as stewards of our planet's precious coastal ecosystems.

We would like also to thanks to our generous sponsors and Benefactors for the snacks of our participants .

Beloved SAN LORENZO RUIZ DE MANILA and Companion Martyrs: You, who experienced the supreme sacrifice of martyrdom for the proclamation of the Christian faith, inspire us with your strength and firmness of conviction to withstand the adversities of our lives and the difficulties of our existence.

Teach us with your marvelous example and saintly wisdom to turn trials into blessings, by showing us the glory that comes from discovering the redemptive power of God's love. When times are full of grief, when moments are suffused with worry, let us feel your presence in our midst, so that we will be aware that you are by our side, strengthening us and interceding for us before Almighty God that we may have patience in our sufferings and consolation in our hardships.

Help us realize that only in knowing our weakness can we be strong, only in undergoing sadness can we find real happiness, and only in passing through trials and distress can we find peace, encouragement and spiritual joy. AMEN.

Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert and was tempted.

✠ A reading from the holy Gospel according to Luke

Filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan
and was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days,
to be tempted by the devil.
He ate nothing during those days,
and when they were over he was hungry.
The devil said to him,
“If you are the Son of God,
command this stone to become bread.”
Jesus answered him,
“It is written, One does not live on bread alone.”
Then he took him up and showed him
all the kingdoms of the world in a single instant.
The devil said to him,
“I shall give to you all this power and glory;
for it has been handed over to me,
and I may give it to whomever I wish.
All this will be yours, if you worship me.”
Jesus said to him in reply,
“It is written:
You shall worship the Lord, your God,
and him alone shall you serve.”
Then he led him to Jerusalem,
made him stand on the parapet of the temple, and said to him,

O God, author and giver of peace, in whose image and likeness each of us has been created with a human dignity worthy of respect on earth and destined for eternal glory,
Listen to the cry that rises from every corner of this fragile earth, from our human family torn by violent conflict.

Give peace in our time, O good and gracious God, that peace which, as your son Jesus Christ told us and as we have experienced in these days, is a peace which the world cannot give.

To world leaders grant the wisdom to see beyond the boundaries of race, religion, and nation to that common humanity that makes us all your children and brothers and sisters to one another.

To those who have taken up arms in anger or revenge or even in the cause of justice grant the grace of conversion to the path of peaceful dialogue and constructive collaboration.

To the innocent who live in the shadow of war and terror, especially the frightened children,
be a shelter and strength, their haven and hope.

And to those who have already lost their lives
as victims of human cruelty and chemical warfare, open wide your arms and enfold them all in the embrace of your compassion, healing, and everlasting life.

'ALL OF US ARE LOVED.'

As the month of love, February is the time when we celebrate Valentine’s Day and we make time for remembering love, we emphasize on the importance of having special people in our lives—our friends, our familes, our special someone, and most especially the love of God for us!

Christ's Precious Blood is the symbol of His love for all mankind and we, Catholics, recognize all of Jesus’ suffering and believe that He truly died for us in hope that we might go to heaven one day.

Just because Jesus died for our sins does not mean that we can live and do whatever we want. Every day, we must try to be pleasing to God. This includes our thoughts, words, and actions.

Sometimes we make mistakes. God invites us to the sacrament of reconciliation to amend our sins. When we recognize our sins, we are joined with the Precious Blood of Jesus as we promise to God that we will try to live a better life. May the significance of Jesus' suffering be our guide to Holiness.

Always remember, all of us are loved! Happy love month, mga bok at 'ter!
