Confession? I am an incredibly slow writer. Like, really slow. Maybe it's overthinking on my part. You know what? It is.

Where'd the idea come from? It's from none other than my latest sassy heroine, Danica Dixon. That's what she calls the bane of her existence, Gabriel Kelley. But more on those two later.

My books feature characters with a lot of "real-life" happening to them. Things happen in their past or present that makes them question their "readiness" or even "worthiness" of finding love or being loved by someone else.

I love stories like this because there are so many of us who struggle with this and don't feel like it's something they can comfortably share with others "offline."

I hope you'll be able to connect with my characters in all their highs and lows and maybe learn something you can use in your own lives.
