9 years ago on (21 August) Bashar al-Assad used chemical weapons on Eastern Ghouta killing at least 1400 including 425 children. Using chemical weapons was regarded as the "red line" at the time and nothing happened after chemical weapons were used. To this day no one has been made responsible.
