I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but......

A few months ago, Jon and I decided that the Bakery needed a little TLC to accommodate our recent surge of business. Thus, we were going to reopen the first of the year with new and improved ordering, recipes, etc.

Unfortunately, we've had another discussion recently. As some of you know, Jon is leaving for a Navy Deployment and won't return anytime soon.

The Bakery is OUR baby and I won't feel inspired or motivated enough to continue it without my partner by my side.

With that, we will not be reopening the bakery until Jon returns home.

This is something that WE love to do together, so please understand.

I don't have a reopening date yet, as we are not allowed to give out specifics with deployments. But it will be quite awhile.

We will see you all on the other side of this deployment.

This Bakery will be closed until May 30th!

We'll still have posts going up & emails being sent, but we won't be back in the kitchen until the end of May.

Why are we doing this? For the next week, we will be re-evaluating a few things with the Bakery to include menu, pricing, and a few other administrative tasks.

After that, family comes to visit and THEN we will be back in the kitchen!

We can't wait to be back to baking and creating!
