Timbog ang pitong High Value Individual (HVI) sa ikinasang buy-bust operation ng mga operatiba ng Police Station 4, CIU,CDEU BCPO, RMFB15, RIU-14 at PDEA Baguio-Benguet PO sa Purok Ongasan, Loakan Proper, Lungsod ng Baguio noong Agosto 17, 2024.

Nakumpiska mula sa mga suspek ang humigit-kumulang 10.5 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu at 100 gramo ng pinatuyong dahon ng ma*****na na may kabuuang halaga na PhP83,400.00.

Kasama rin sa mga nakumpiskang ebidensya ang ilang mga gamit tulad ng cellphone, lighter, at v**e.

Ang mga suspek at mga ebidensya ay nasa kustodiya na ngayon ng Police Station 4 para sa kaukulang dokumentasyon at wastong disposiyon.

Ang isa pang 56-taong gulang na babae, na dating miyembro ng Communist Terrorist Group ay kusang loob na isinuko ang kanyang baril sa isang pagbisita at diyalogo sa Barangay Cabaruyan, Daguioman, Abra.

Pinangunahan ng pinagsamang puwersa ng 2nd Abra Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) kasama ang iba pang yunit ng Abra Police Provincial Office (AbPPO) ang pagbisita at pakikipag-usap sa mga residente ng Brgy. Cabaruyan, Daguioman, Abra. Tinalakay nila ang mga programa ng PNP laban sa loose fi****ms at hinikayat ang mga residente na isuko ang kanilang mga baril na walang kaukulang dokumento upang maiwasan ang kaso sa ilalim ng Republic Act 10591 o ang "Comprehensive Fi****ms and Ammunition Regulation Act."

Maaalala na ang babae ay bumalik sa ilalim ng batas noong Abril 15, 2021. Nagpasya siyang suportahan ang mga programa ng gobyerno sa National Task Force to End Local Communist and Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) sa ilalim ng Executive Order No. 70.

PRESS RELEASE | TFBL chairperson boosts People’s Organizations through cooperative capacity training as a ‘pioneer project’

TFBL Chairperson and DND Undersecretary Angelito M. De Leon led a two-day People’s Organization Summit and Capacity Training for former rebels at the PCSD Palawan Sustainable Development Training Institute in Brgy. Irawan, Puerto Princesa City, from July 30 - 31, 2024.

The two-day training, facilitated by Acting TFBL Executive Director CAPT Ferdinand C. Buscato (GSC) PN, and other representatives from the Cooperative Development Authority, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office Palawan, 3rd Marine Brigade, and Land Bank of the Philippines, focused on enhancing the former rebels’ skills in cooperative management and project proposal development. Participants also received support packages of farm kits from the Department of Agriculture, TFBL shirts and magazines, and information on amnesty applications from the National Amnesty Commission.

A former rebel received a ₱20,000.00 assistance package from the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Motiong, Samar led by Mayor Renato Cabael, in collaboration with the 87th Infantry Battalion on 01 August 2024.

As part of the Municipal Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict's (MTF-ELCAC) Local Social Integration Program (LSIP), it aims to help former rebels reintegrate into society.

Mayor Cabael emphasized the community's support for those choosing peace, expressing commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment.

From July 2022 to June 2024, ninety-six former rebels in the Cordillera region received over PhP6.4 million in assistance through the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP). Each returnee received PhP15,000 in immediate assistance, PhP50,000 for livelihood assistance, PhP21,000 for reintegration assistance, and compensation for surrendered fi****ms. This totaled PhP1.395 million in immediate assistance, PhP1.3 million in livelihood assistance, PhP1.68 million in reintegration assistance, and PhP1.974 million in fi****ms remuneration. Local efforts, like Apayao's reward system, further supported these initiatives.

Labing-apat na mag-aaral na anak at apo ng mga dating rebelde na ginanap sa himpilan ng 81IB na nakabase sa Brgy. F. Simeon, Ragay, Camarines Sur ang nakatanggap ng school supplies mula sa lokal na pamahalaan ng Lupi, Camarines Sur sa pamumuno ni Mayor Lilian S.A. Matamorosa, ang alkalde ng nasabing bayan at 81st Infantry Battalion noong ika-1 ng Agosto taong 2024.

Kabilang sa mga school supplies na naihandog ay papel, notebook, ballpen, envelope, at krayola na siyang magagamit ng mga bata sa kanilang pag-aaral.
