Please David Okengwu is yet to do the Kidney transplant. For a while we have been running compatibility tests to get the right donor but are still believing God to get a positive result, whilst still on dialysis.

It hasn't been easy financially as each test ranges from #700,000 to 1.4million naira depending on the type of test to be carried out(If you've ever been close to a kidney disease patient or kidney specialist hospital, you'll attest to this).

Currently we need at least 8 million naira to get through with the process. I know we have been trying a lot, but please come to our aid once again, David needs the transplant done so he can get back to his feet.

It's really a sad thing to begin this year this way.

This festive season hasn't been easy on David Okengwu. While people were relaxing and celebrating, David was in and out of hospital. The trauma, the pains, the dialysis, the stress, the injections etc. were so much.

David has been on dialysis, the Kidney transplant is yet to be done. We are still hoping and believing God for a solution.

David Okengwu is a young graduate of Ed/ Political Science.
He was diagnosed of chronic kidney disease in 2015, and had a kidney transplant in April 2019 Umuahia, Abia State, Nigeria. Unfortunately, the kidney failed months later.
He undergoes dialysis every alternate day.
The doctors have advised that he get a second kidney transplant as a permanent solution.
