For Sale: 1987 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z, T-Top car with 63K miles. This was a TPI 305 car with auto trans.

I stripped a 5.3 iron block and sent it off to be bored .120 over (LS1 spec 5.7L) and built it last year. New engine is installed and runs. Brand new motor includes flat top aluminum pistons with .030 ring gap, catch can. BTR stage 2 cam 111LSA, 243 Aluminum heads with Long tube headers, LS1 intake manifold, LS1 oil pan, High volume oil pump, high flow fuel pump. Lots of other upgrades, too much to list here.

The car will start and run now, but won't drive well.

Here's what's left: Transmission needs to be completely rebuilt. Needs new wiring harness for the LS1 - the wiring harness now is the original off the 5.3, and there's a lot of extra wiring on the 5.3 harness that this car doesn't need, it looks messy. I have sources for a clean plug and play harness for this particular set up, about $600-$700 bucks.

The fuse block in the car now does work, but it's the original 5.3 fuse block from the Silverado - I planned on upgrading to a smaller one for ideal fitment. The fuel lines need to be replaced for optimal fitment. Needs cold air intake. Needs new battery. ECU needs tuned.

There's tons of parts on the market, and local people with the skills to finish this project quickly. I lost all interest and have my eye on something else.
