The first time you give somebody something for free, you create APPRECIATION

The second time you give somebody something for free, you create ANTICIPATION

The third time you give somebody something for free, you create EXPECTATION

The fourth time you give somebody something for free, you are creating ENTITLEMENT

The fifth time you give somebody something for free, you have created DEPENDENCY

If by the sixth time and you don't give it to him or her, you create RESENTMENT and HATRED.

Be intentional about YOU! Take care of yourself. Self care isn’t selfish, remember that! ❤️

In today's society we live in what can be called a death-denying culture.....even when the dying individual is not physically alone, it is unusual for anyone to be with him or her, sensing and sharing his feelings of pain, bewilderment, and anger. If the individual tries to share his or her feelings, he runs the risk of being totally alone, for few people will really listen to him or her; fewer still will give him or her a meaningful response.

After Chemotherapy

An intruder has been drip-fed into my body and ransacked the house of my mind every thing of value, or beauty, or use has been stolen...........
What the intruder didn't think was worth taking I don't want either.

My home community, Tucber Park, New Amsterdam, Berbice. I've lived here for over 52 years. It's beautiful and peaceful with equally beautiful people. Never wanted to live anywhere else.

First, Just listen..

It's a shock to learn that a friend or loved one has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. It's natural to want to know all the details, but a lot of questions can be though for them to face. They may not have all the answers yet. Accept what they are sharing. They understand that you don't know what to say. Instead of saying "You're a fighter; you're going to make it, try this; "I can't imagine how you must feel, I'm here to listen if you want to talk".....

It is easy to feel both small and insignificant, having no purpose in the overall scheme of things. And yet in God's eyes there are no mistakes and nonentities.
Each life is given at just the right time to do and to be something special and irreplaceable.
For you and I are lovingly shaped to be the building blocks from which history is created.

Stop being passive aggressive people. Stop putting all these hearts and kissy faces after saying something ignorant. Because they doesn't nigate the fact that it was ignorant.....

I didn't write this, but I feel its important to share..

For the exhausted woman who showers a few minutes longer to cry with the water...

For the person hidden in the bathroom, because she needs a few minutes of tranquility while slipping tears from her eyes.

For the woman who is so tired that she feels she can't continue, that she would give anything to feel like herself again...

For the woman who cries in her room when everyone leaves the house and for a moment she let's go...

For the woman who desperately battles with self Confidence when wearing denim pants because she wants to look pretty and wear them to feel better but everything just climbs over or can't close...

For the woman who orders pizza for dinner because she didn’t have the time to make dinner again as she expected... Because she's tired.

For the woman who feels alone, even when she's accompanied.

You're worth a lot.
You are important.
You are enough.
You are wonderful...
