The first new set of songs for a while, “Hot!” mixes a disco / dance beat with a punk rock attitude. Lyrically it’s an attack on instagram/TikTok image, stalkers, marital violence and basically being in a much better place. 😊

Here is my latest collection of songs. Well, kind of. It’s a new take on songs I wrote for my nineties band Dead Joe that were never recorded (other than for a live “bootleg” style recording).

Next of the song sets to hit Spotify. I was trying to do something with a Prince like funk to it, but it came out somewhere closer to ”Beck playing Bowie’s Lodger LP” on tracks like ”Missing Piece”, with a bit of Iggys ”The Idiot” on “One Day” and Royal Trux on “Secret Life of the Life Model”. But it has a groove 😂

This is the latest set of my tracks to find their way to Spotify (and Apple Music, Amazon etc). "Memoirs".

Sometimes I will write throw away lyrics, linked to a line that pops into my head and amuses me. Or something that irks, or just generally catches my attention/imagination. "Memoirs" isn't that at all. The songs are from the heart, and about someone really important that has been in my thinking much of my life, but never more so than now. I hope you enjoy these ballads.
