🌿🌍👏 Résumé de la collecte mensuelle et du programme de recyclage de Mission Verte pour le mois de Mai :

Avec votre aide précieuse, nous avons réussi à rassembler :
- 3,5 tonnes de matières plastiques, y compris 3,1 tonnes de PET ♻️
- 165 kg d'aluminium 🥫
- 7,6 tonnes de papiers et de cartons 📜
- 533 kg de déchets électroniques 📺

C'est avec fierté que nous vous annonçons avoir également initié 2429 individus aux enjeux de l'environnement. 👥

Nous tenons à exprimer notre profonde gratitude à tous ceux qui ont contribué à cette campagne de recyclage ! Collectivement, nous avons avancé vers un futur plus vert et durable. 🙌

Many people believe that climate change is the sole culprit for the disappearance of the reefs. Truth is that reefs are even more susceptible to temperature rises because they are already stressed due to overfishing and pollution.

Nature offers us a beautiful solution: the miracle plant called VETIVER!

The beauty of this SOLUTION is that ANYONE and EVERYONE can be part of it!!!

Vetiver has meters long roots that purify water by trapping and absorbing toxicities, while at the same time the plant stabilises the soil and is thus an excellent weapon against erosion.

Dear inhabitants of the beautiful island of Mauritius, Let’s plant some Vetiver!!!

In the future planting events will be organised but anyone who wants to start now and/or do this on their own Haswin K. Basenoo is the person you can contact via facebook to buy your plants. He can even deliver in many parts of the island!!

Let’s do this because we firmly believe that the reefs around Mauritius could do much better. It is NOT just climate change that is killing them. The good side of this bad news is that we all can actually do something about it. And the solution is not difficult, expensive or time-consuming. No, it can be done by planting just a bit of grass… If we all jump on the boat and do this together we can change the tide for the Mauritian reefs!!!
