TODAY IS THE DAY!!! it's Sharon D's birthday! I could definitely write a book about what she means to me! If you've been around us you know we are a trip! We can argue in one moment and the next whispering secrets and laughing.
This is my rock... My mouthpiece when I don't wanna speak up, my doctor when Im sick, my life coach when I need advice, my comedian when I need laughter, my back protector and most of all my way of entry into this world.
The older I get, the more of a resemblance I see of her. With each day I cherish the memories we create together....
Enjoy you last year in your 50s! I love you Mommy!

Mother Katie Mae Hurt was a woman that is a rare find these days....
Today, 6 years ago, she went home to get eternal rest. And while I miss her physical presence...as I reflect, she is STILL providing for me! Because of the things she put in place, I am able to live the life I have now! I am so PROUD and HONORED to be apart of her legacy.
