Long time no post 🫣

Don’t worry I’m still making stuff! Like this here dress made by me from vintage sheets and lace, and I also crocheted my largest project this summer!! Both are not for sale- I made them for me :-)

To be honest, I haven’t posted on here in a long time because it began to feel like a chore. About a year ago I started a full time job that turned out to be incredibly draining and exhausting in every way and for a few months I was barely creating things. I still did projects here and there and did 2 fashion shows during that time (!!!) but again; it all felt like another job, something I HAD to do. The last thing I wanted was to have that kind of attitudes and feelings about something that I began out of pure creativity and freedom. I had to take a break for a while and simply find the joy in creating and making and wearing, etc.

This all may sound very dramatic and personal and I appreciate you reading this far, but honestly!! It’s taken a lot more time than I thought it would to heal this feeling. I’m also just a young person going through life changes and constantly changing my mind about what I want to do, and there’s so much pressure about careers and life milestones etc. people around my age face, but I think that right now is the perfect time for me to try things; lean from them, and try again. And try something new! And maybe suck at it but also what if I don’t! And you’ll never know unless you do! So that’s what I’m doing and vibing with recently and I hope you can vibe with it too ❣️

Daydream is not going anywhere, it’s always been a part of me and right now I’m going to keep on learning about my own creative process and what it means to reclaim that space for me only. I’m in my creatively selfish era and it feels good! Excited to see what I come up with. Thanks for being here too :-)💗

This was the first time I’ve really ever tried to make something like this and I think it turned out amazing. I used a set of vintage curtains to make this dress and drafted my own pattern too. Super pleased with how it turned out and wanted to share with you all here, might make some like it to have for sale someday …🫣

Tomorrow from 8-10 will be first ever Prom!!! Come celebrate the end of a successful season with the SoHud community and come dressed in your best 80s prom attire 💃🏻🕺🏼

Vendors will be set up as usual+ a few extra hours from 12-10pm. I helped plan the decorations and we’re gonna have a killer photo booth area so come prepared for some pics 😌✨ hope to see you there!

This coming weekend I’ll be in Chicago at for the Lucky Mart! Super excited for my first out of state market🎉 I’ll be staying with some good friends while I’m there and I can’t wait to explore the city.

3. Grape and Chicken, large. Top measures 23in pit to pit, 16in long. Shorts measure up to 18in flying flat (comfortably fitting a 28-34in waist) 15 in length, 5 inseam.

Vintage 70s halters- made by me using vintage fabric and a vintage pattern, so I guess they can technically qualify as true vintage?🤔😉✨

These are a bit time consuming for me to make and I don’t have a ton of the same fabric to make repeats, so these are most likely always going to be 1 of 1! And I probably won’t offer them frequently! So get them while you can, yellow is a medium and blue is a tad smaller. Both adjustable and can comfortably fit a B/C cup size.

1976* Rare McDonald’s scene with different characters on each side! This one is super cool because although from what I’ve found online, it appears to be from ‘76 but it’s missing some key characters- like Grimace, who was introduced in 1971- so it might be earlier due to that? Not completely sure but very cool nonetheless! $65
