Hiding In Daylight is a progressive rock band in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The lineup is Dale Chilton, guitar and vocals; Joe Weller, drums; Jamie Addiss, bass guitar.

Here is a new video from our last practice of the song "Blood For Blood." I tried a new camera angle to feature our guitar players more.
This is "Signal 30" from our practice yesterday. I am still trying to find the best camera angle, but at least it sounds better than the other camera.
I am happy to say the new camera seems to work well and the sound is MUCH better. I'm still working on getting the best camera angles in the basement. Here's a clip of "Age of Empires" that sounds pretty good (except for my mistakes, lol).

We are working on doing some recording in the HID home studio in 2021. Stay tuned!
We have been back to rehearsing at Dale's house for about a month. I'm still learning the camera and recording process so this still doesn't sound great. This is one of our classic hits, it's called "Age of Empires."
This video is from our practice at Joe's deck on Saturday, 6/6/20. Still learning how to use the camera, but at least the audio is much better this time. We still don't have any vocals yet. I'm hopeful we will next time.
HID has been able to practice a few times out at Joe's house while maintaining social distancing. The video production is a bit rough, especially the sound. I am still on the learning curve with the new video camera, that's for sure. It has been really nice to be able to play some music though.
The sound is not good, at least when the bass plays, but I will hopefully fix that next time.

Hiding in Daylight performs tonight at Quinn and Tuites Irish Pub. We are the first band, it starts around 9 pm. Come out and rock with us, and remember tonight we set the clocks back so you have an extra hour!!!
