Mesa Verde Girls Volleyball

Dear players and parents,

Although we have not gotten the thumbs up yet on whether or not we will be having volleyball season this year, we are hopeful that it will happen, with some added safety precautions. We will not know for sure for a while, but we want to make sure we are all prepared to hit the ground running.

This means we need EVERY player to do the following things:
-EVERY player needs a new physical. The date of your physical must be AFTER June 10, 2020.
-create a profile with mesaverdesports.com and follow all registration instructions.
-continue to check your emails/FB/Instagram regularly to get the most up to date information

Volleyball tryouts were set to begin on August 3, however, if we get approval before this date, we will be holding conditioning/clinic. So get these clearances completed ASAP so there is no delay in beginning our season.

Unfortunately due to the pandemic, we missed out on the clinics and open gyms we were planning on having. Because of this, we encourage you all to get hydrated and start conditioning at home, getting yourself in shape for season. If you need suggestions on different workouts to do, don’t hesitate to reach out to one of the coaches.

Dear MVHS girls volleyball players and parents,

Although we have very little knowledge to share, we wanted to make sure you are hearing from us. Due to the unprecedented circumstances of COVID-19, there are many unknowns in regard to the 2020 Volleyball season.

We have no information so far on summer clinics, tryouts, or season. We are waiting for more information from the school district on how/if we will be moving forward with the 2020 season. Please keep your eyes on your emails and the volleyball Instagram and pages, as we will update you with all information as it comes.

If you have any questions at all, please reach out to your coach. If your email address has changed, please update it by sending it to your coach.

Last night the Maverick Varsity team took on alumni who graduated from Mesa all the way from 2004-2011. The alumni team walked away with the W, but varsity played hard and fought for every point!

Come out and watch the Girls Varsity Volleyball Team play against the Alumni Team this Friday 10/25. Warmups start at 5:30pm and Game starts at 6:00pm.
This is a Fundraiser game to raise money for our program. Suggested entry donations for students is $2 and adults is $5. You are more than welcome to donate any amount you would like.
There will be a competition between the players of who can get the most amount of people to the game and donating. So make sure when you come in and donate, you let the person at the door know who invited you so they get credit.
