We’ll be open today—and every day until the end of August—from 4:00–6:00. The reservation tool is working but not required. Lobster is priced daily, with each haul. A huge shout out to our incredible island lobsterman who make this possible—Jeff Putnam & Jason Skillin!

The Chebeague Lobster Company is opening on Saturday for the 2023 summer season. The reservation page won’t be online until Saturday, but we’ll have plenty of bugs to sell! Can’t wait to see you all for another incredible summer!

We’re taking a final count of lobster reservations for the July 4th weekend. Please reserve by noon on Saturday if your butter is looking for a friend.

Announcement: during the “shedder” season we typically see lobster prices drop, but we’ve been alerted that boat prices for lobster are going up with the next haul. We always keep our prices several dollars below the mainland, so going forward our prices are competitive at $10.85/ #, up from $9.50/ #. As always, thank you for your patronage. We’re doing our best to connect you with the most handsome lobster at the best price.

So happy to report that our next delivery of lobster will be here in time for dinner on Thursday. Should have plenty of lobster for everyone, but reservations are always welcome and this early in the season, recommended. Thanks for your patience!

In-step with lumber and bacon, the production cost of pint glasses had a slight increase this year, so these will be available for $12/glass.

Last year was so wonderful, we thought we'd try it again!

We heard price drops for lobster were coming but tonight it was confirmed. On Thursday, the new haul will be priced at $6.75/lb. when you come for your lobster later this week, check out our new pint glasses. So fun!

Father’s Day is tomorrow. The online reservation system won’t let you reserve lobster for tomorrow, Sunday, because we’re officially closed. If you’d like to have lobster tomorrow, please make a reservation for Monday and in the “special requests” box type “Father’s Day”. We’ve got 50 lobsters left so I hope we’ve got you covered. We’ll be open from 4–6pm. Thanks to all who came out today!

A HUGE shout-out to Hank Whethem and Jeff Putnam, without whom this endeavor would not be possible. We’re working with a small network of island lobstermen to put lobster on your table this summer. Humbled by the experience and loving working alongside our kids in this process.

Online reservations have taken off and while we won’t be open on Sunday during summer (family day), we’re making an exception for Father’s Day, tomorrow. If you insist on lobster, I recommend reservations. We’ll fill those orders first. Thank you—all of you—for your overwhelming support. We’re truly moved by the online applause.

We’ll make an honest-to-goodness post tomorrow when we have lobster in the tank, but our goal is to be open, from 4–6pm. Buckets have arrived, so if you don’t bring a lobster bucket, you can pay a $10 deposit for one of ours. It’s starting to feel like summer!
