Felt so good to be back in the salon doing what I love most. So good to see to many clients and such good friends.

Back to the busy schedules and franting mum life so this evening though. Maybe some time to wash my hair later. PPE is ESSENTIAL but my skin and hair to object to it.

Most drug store or supermarket found shampoos condition silicones, sulfates and parabens.This may be your problem.

These tend to strip your hair of its own natural oils, making it dry and brittle. Sulfates can also cause irritations such as itchiness, redness and dryness, making you more susceptible to Scalp conditons such as dandruft. If you color your hair, sulfates can quickly minimize the color’s life resulting in more and more frequent colour touch ups.

Check your shampoo. Don't waste money buying products that don't benefit your hair.

Let's talk about build up. Products you use may not be the most beneficial for your hair. They can leave wax and other waterproof deposits preventing natural oils, conditioners and treatments from penetrating into your hair. This makes all of your deep conditioning masks pointless. I hope you have bene enjoying the last of the hot weather for this, but remember the sun maybe fun but it cna also be very damaging for you skin and your hair. Make sure for your skin you are using a sunscreen that protects you from UV A and B. Also make sure that your hair is also getting the moisture that it needs too. The sun has a dry effect on your hair which can result in brittle, frizzy and increased damage to your hair shaft.
