If you have questions, please reach out to Joe @ [email protected]
We have reserved a limited number of spots at Camp DeSales summer camp for our Monroe County teens! We need to know if you're in by December 31.
Scholarships are also available!
The teens did an amazing job serving the Godworks Dinner at St. Mary on Friday! Special thanks to the Cuccias for spearheading the meal prep.
Our next gathering for the teens is less than a month away! Mark your calendars now for a Christmas Fiesta & Night of Caroling.
For those teens who aren't able to make it tomorrow night but still need volunteer hours, no worries!
We have more volunteer opportunities in the near future!
We have surpassed our number of 15 volunteers, which is great!
For the Godworks Dinner, we will do our best to divide up the number of tasks so that everyone has a role to play, whether its preparing the food, serving the meal, welcoming/talking with our guests, and cleaning the kitchen up.
We have four lanes reserved afterwards, so we will likely have the teens team up/take turns at the bowling alley. We will have a limited amount of pizza and pop available too. Teens might want to bring extra cash!
Our next gathering is next Friday, November 17.
We're looking for the first 15 teen volunteers to sign-up for the Friday Godworks Dinner at St. Mary Monroe's Parish Life Center and afterwards enjoy a few rounds of bowling!

Thanks again to Jason Evert for delivering his important Theology of the Body message this past Monday night to a packed house at the KofC Hall in Monroe!
And thanks to Fr. David, Fr. Mike & Fr. Slaton who heard confessions and all those volunteers who made the night a tremendous success! Special thanks to Heather Wilson at Snap Happy Photography for capturing the night!
Here's the testimony of a teen who survived their high school years without a smart phone:
"I am called to act with intentionality. For seventeen years I have not had a phone or social media of any kind. As awkward and embarrassing as this has been, I have realized that acting with intention allows me to live with natural joy and deep purpose without the distractions of a device. I desire to spend my time on matters that are important, so avoiding the superficiality that comes with being constantly connected to a phone or social media allows me to strive towards my authentic self. As much of a struggle as this has been, it has been one of the most rewarding and impactful pieces of my life."
Great article about parenting in the age of the smartphone!

Here's the schedule for tonight:
4-5PM - Free Time on the Farm (Free Donuts & Cider Available in the Barn)
5-5:30PM - Blessing Before Meal & Eat Dinner Together
5:30-5:45 - Movie Introduction & Reflection Questions
5:45-7:45 - Movie - The Way
7:45-8:00 - Upcoming Events & Concluding Prayer
Here's the movie we are watching on Sunday's Movie Night at the Trabbic Family Pumpkin Farm!
It's called The Way which portrays a father's pilgrimage on the Camino after his son suddenly passes away. The film shares not only how a pilgrimage can be beneficial for one's spiritual life but also how our unique path often crosses with other people who are in need of accompaniment and healing.
The movie is rated PG-13 for a couple instances of profanity and references to drug use. We will also fast forward through a scene that displays a pilgrim un******ng.
Remember this Movie Night is for both parents & teens! Hope to see many there! No RSVP needed!

Next Sunday, September 24 we will have a movie night on the Trabbic Family Pumpkin Farm from 4-8PM. Free cider, donuts and pizza will be provided. We will be watching the movie The Way starring Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez. It's a movie profiling the Camino de Santiago, a famous pilgrimage in Spain that pilgrims have walked for centuries.
Both parents and teens are encouraged to come!
