About 3wks ago Destiny reached out to me, and asked if I offered private catering because she wanted to do something special for her 8th Anniversary and I’ve never advertised that I offer this service but you know what they say “It doesn’t hurt to ask” and lucky for her “Ask and you shall receive” is exactly what happened. 😌
I’m so grateful that she even reached out and asked bc this is something I always planned to offer in the future but I was just waiting on the right time ⏰ Welp I guess the time was now!

Still drooling over this scrumptious Shrimp Lobster and Grits I made last Saturday 🦞🦐🍚🤤😋
This was my first time making grits and baby lemme tell you I blew this one out the park! The shrimp was drenched in my ultimate Cajun cream sauce and the lobster was baked to perfection with garlic butter sauce. I turned red lobster cheddar bay biscuits into waffles and it was phenomenal 😲😜

Yesterdays Catering 🥰
*Long Post*
This was the most cooking I’ve ever done in a day, and it was a challenge for myself to see if I could do it. I made a total of 16 Trays of food. Woke up at 4am to start cooking my first order that needed to be finished by 12pm and I succeeded (I’m always late) 😩 so I was proud of myself!
Then I started my next order that had to be ready by 4pm and I succeeded again!
I was so nervous all week making sure I bought everything I need and was prepared for Saturday bc I hate when I start cooking and something is missing or I’m wasting time still prepping things.
I completed all of this without burning any food or making mistakes 🤞🏾 normally I start off slow and find myself rushing at this end but I can say this was the least stressful day I’ve had catering despite the amount of food I had to prepare. I also completed this day without my kitchen being in shambles 🥴 I was actually able to do dishes while cooking, a huge win for me bc I’m always stuck with a pile of dishes after a catering bc I’m crunched for time.
All in all I am extremely proud of myself and I’m so excited for what’s to come. 🥰🤞🏾

So I always try to decide what I want for Sunday Dinner two days ahead but this week it was a struggle 😩🥴 but my cousin said he wanted chicken chow mein so I worked my way from there. We ended up with Lamb bc Stop & Shop had no chicken legs! Like literally NONE! I was sick of steak and didn’t want pork so I said YOLO and picked up a couple packs of Lamb Shoulder and let me tell y’all! It came out SUPERB for my first time. 🥰😋

So quick back story on me and King Fish. Growing up I hated it so much bc it had such a strong taste to me. But my St. Lucian grandmother who raised me loved it and made it EVERY WEEK 😩 let’s just say on those days I ate Ramen Noodles 😂 However, as I got older and my taste for different foods changed and I’ve grown to love it. Shout out to those parents out there who have picky eaters, there’s hope! 🤞🏾☺️

Honey 🍯 Garlic 🧄 Salmon 🍣 with Shrimp 🍤 Fried Rice tonight! Lemme tell y’all about how Jesus himself came down from Heaven to assist me in making this salmon! I’ve had this idea in my head for a long time and finally put my idea in the pot and this honey garlic salmon blew me out the water! The glaze was total perfection! 👌🏾😋

Jerk Salmon Rasta Pasta 😍😋 quick 30min meal I threw together. I’ve mastered my Rasta Pasta Recipe so adding the salmon was just to try it bc I’ve never had salmon with pasta before. I’m weird when it comes to seafood with creamy or cheesy things so I was nervous but it turned out to be an exceptional pair in my book 👌🏾🥰

Cast Iron T-Bone Steak 🥩 clearly I’m having too much fun with steak this week. I think cooking steak in my new cast irons is my new favorite thing 😝 This two step method is so easy to do, and I can’t wait to perfect it so I can share with you 😌
