“FIRST PHOTOGRAPHIC RECORD OF TIRUMALA HAMATA ORIENTALIS (SEMPER, 1879) (NYMPHALIDAE: DANAINAE) IN HONG KONG”

This paper provides evidence on the first report of the Philippine endemic butterfly, 𝘛𝘪𝘳𝘶𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘩𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘢 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴, in HongKong. The weather systems such as typhoons may have assisted its dispersal.
This paper is co-authored by Asst. Prof. Ja-a Badon.

6. Must belong to a family whose gross income is not more than ₱250,000.00 per annum
7. Must not be a recipient of other thesis grants

📣 New paper alert! 📣

"Assemblages of frugivorous butterflies in two urban parks in Quezon City, Philippines"

The study shows that urban parks can still support butterfly species populations and bait trap method is effective in documenting some endemic species. This paper is co-authored by Assist. Prof. Ja-a Badon.

Asst. Prof. Rioja attends the 17th International Echinoderm Conference in Tenerife, Spain. She will present two studies highlighting the diversity and resilience of our local echinoderm species.
