Every year the Park Ridge Newcomers organization selects a family to nominate for our annual Labor of Love Gala. This year’s recipients was the beautiful Moore Family.

I am amazed at how our community showed up this past Saturday to give their love and support for another family in our town.

I am grateful for the experience to be a part of planning such a wonderful event. I am also grateful for these 3 women who showed love and selflessness in all their efforts to make this event a huge success.

There has been a lot of emotion and turmoil in our world the past two years. The joy I saw at Saturday’s event was a wonderful reminder of how much good there is in the world. 💜
