I am reinventing my love for colors and design and will continue to share my journey of creation to
Creating this pattern was so much fun! Leaves with polka dots and stripes and three different colorways.. love using the Recolor Artwork tool in Adobe Illustrator! You can create colorways in no time!
Had fun creating this abstract pattern. Started out with the bright pink and yellow colorway, and used the Recolor Artwork tool in Adobe Illustrator to create two more. Which one do you like more? I like how the pattern looks on zipper pouches from my Redbubble shop.
My first try at creating a mini pattern collection. Still have a long way to go but glad to have taken the first steps as I enjoyed the process! This one is inspired by all things tropical. Products of this artwork now available on my society 6 and Redbubble shops. ๐ motifs
My latest artwork - I have made a conscious effort here to break away from focussing on a repeating pattern.. so started out with a vertical art print artwork.. of course, I did end up creating an all over repeating design as well, as it is better suited to some products than an abstract composition. Enjoyed making this one. I have named this one โFunky Tribeโ in two colorways - Summer and Seascape. Now available on so many amazing products on my Society6 and Redbubble shops (click shop now)
I have been spending the last few weeks on honing my Adobe Illustrator skills. Hours spent on Skillshare have finally yielded a satisfactory result, especially using the pattern tool in Adobe Illustrator. After a few failed attempts I finally was successful in using this amazing tool effectively! Products of this artwork now available on my Society6 and Redbubble shops (click on shop now).
Colours truly uplift my mood, so hereโs another happy, colourful design. I enjoyed the process of putting it together. It brought back memories from my Uni days where I would spend hours drawing my artwork, then using tracing paper to repeat motifs and patterns followed by preparing colours and then painting my artwork.. it was time-consuming but very satisfying! Of course, I love the convenience of modern technology which makes the process so much more faster! Products now available on my Redbubble shop (http://bit.ly/A-pocketful-of-colors) ๐
Wow, I did not realise that it had been so long since my last post! Time has well and truly flown. I had not had a chance to sit down and design as much as I have been so tied up with this and that. Itโs been one of the most challenging years across the world and thankfully the last few months feel like they have just whizzed past (not that I am complaining, I cannot wait for 2020 to end!) I hope everyone is staying safe and well! So this was something I made last night.. I love geometric patterns and have been meaning to make one for while.. so here goes.. this artwork is called Confetti - just what it reminded me of ๐. Products now available to purchase on my redbubble shop! Do let me know what you think.. look forward to feedback, comments.. keen to know!
So this design was a result of scribbling on a post it note.. I was lost in thought and was scribbling away and realised that the scribbled floral motif could actually look pretty cool with some cool colors.. I have always been one for bright colors.. even back in my Uni days I remember a friend of mine always said, โYour designs are always happy and bright.โ And that has not changed.. Yes, I do love colors of all kinds.. but my personal preference has always been for brighter, fresher hues that uplift my mood.. hope it does the same for you! ๐ If you like the artwork and would like to buy a product with this artwork , head to my shop on society6 (https://society6.com/apocketfulofcolours) or also to my redbubble shop (http://bit.ly/A-pocketful-of-colors).
Itโs been a while since I have posted anything but finding time to design has been challenging whilst juggling a full time job and other family commitments. I was finally able to complete this artwork bit by bit very other night for a few minutes at a time. Products of this artwork available on my society6 shop (link in bio) and also on my redbubble shop (http://bit.ly/A-pocketful-of-colors).

Getting back to designing and doing what I love feels so satisfying and rewarding! Itโs great to reopen my creative outlet and rekindle my love for color and design. Just created this artwork in two colorways and I cannot decide which one is better.. ๐ค๐ค๐ค so decided to use them both!
