Repost by A note on bottled water: this is not just a take-away item. Many people buy bottled water to drink at home, which is so wasteful and unnecessary. I refuse to drink tap water too, so we have a water filter on our kitchen tap so we can use filtered water for drinking and cooking. This is both a more sustainable and more cost-effective option than bottled water.
