On one of our recent posts we found out we have a few chocolate lovers out there 👀🍫 and these brownies with one of our favorite Scandinavian candies, Daim, will fulfill all of your chocolate dreams!! Daim is a candy that consists of a crunchy almond caramel covered in chocolate - usually found at IKEAs across the US! Added to brownies, it gives the perfect textural crunch 😍

This was the first recipe we posted on our website, and it’s the one we keep coming back to - our Danish cinnamon rolls recipe, aka Kanelsnegle! This directly means cinnamon snails (petition to call cinnamon buns snails from now on pls) and they are made with a soft dough that gives the most amazing texture to these rolls! 😋 Combined with the buttery cinnamon sugar filling and a sweet icing, they’re the perfect pastry 🤩
Full recipe on the website here: https://skandibaking.com/kanelsnegle-danish-cinnamon-buns/
We’re starting to bake/cook with spring veggies, and one of those is asparagus! This is one of our favorite quiche fillings: asparagus, onion, spinach, ham, and of course cheese! And it doesn’t hurt to have a deliciously buttery crust to hold the filling 😋
Full recipe on the website here: https://skandibaking.com/ham-and-asparagus-quiche-madtaerte-med-skinke-og-asparges/
It’s no secret we love marzipan - and this classic Danish cake is one of our favorites! 🇩🇰 It’s called “mazarinkage” and while it’s actually named after an Italian cardinal (why this is the case, we don’t know 😂), its main distinguishing factor is the addition of marzipan to the batter! 🍰 It gives it the most tender texture - top the cake off with some chocolate, and it’s the perfect combo!
