The BBC Lo Book FM
The BBC (Berom Broadcasting Corporation) Lo Borok is an indigenous band of musicians that specializes in Berom traditional/indigenous music. It is a wireless FM stationed tagged 90.9 because of their open-air performing ability. They all hailed from the renown Vwang District of Beromland and have been performing for about 30 years now. They are into comedy, story telling, lullabies and songs with inspiration drawn from the Almighty God(Dagwi), autochthonous Berom histories and developments, folklore, myths, proverbs etc. The group usually perform at events as weddings, end of year celebrations, annual Berom festivals and particularly the international Nzem Berom festival and others. In their 30 years' span of momentum, about two of their members passed on. To the glory of God (Dagwi) they are still waxing well with a good number of released albums to their credit. In fact, more are in the offing as they seemed renewed in inspiration. I encourage you to Support the BBC Lo Borok as well as the Berom indigenous music.
