I am pretty proud of this commissioned piece. This was commissioned as a Father’s Day gift (he doesn’t do social media, we’re safe!). First pic is finished product before I added chains, progress pics in reverse order with the last pic being the original photo that I worked with. Morel cluster! Look carefully, there are a few little specks of black embedded in the glass from the manufacturing process, but I think that just makes them look a little more realistic! MORCHELLA! I made two of these little morel guys! I’ve been trying to figure out what to make with this highly textured glass and was inspired by all the pics that friends are posting of their morel hauls back home in Missouri.
