This small Thai restaurant is beautifully decorated with floral theme. Service was friendly and wonderful. Every dish we ordered authentic, delicious and on points. We enjoyed our experience very much. Thank you for the hospitality.

New found steakhouse in Seletar Aerospace Park.

This is sharing plater 600gr 28-day dry aged bone-in grass fed striploin $110.

We love the crispy charred crust of the steak and that butter was a beautiful add-on to the flavour.

Where is the best steak house youโ€™ve ever been?

Have you ever tried African foods?

This is my first time.

Itโ€™s interestingly yummy though the highlight was this super delicious coffee called BIDIBADO โ€œABRACADABRAโ€. The rich taste of 70% ethically sourced Mรถrk dark chocolate blends so well with Hokkaido milk and the Ubuntu espresso.

I particularly enjoyed the Moroccan Lemon Chicken Tagine, served with Quinoa.

Give this place a try, you will not regret.

Canh chua cรก hรบ or soup fish soup has always been my comfort foods when I was growing up. I got excited everytime my mom cooked this dish. ๐Ÿ˜‹

Finally I found some veggies ingredients to recreate this and it still has that refreshing taste and wanting for more. Here is my recipe if you like to try:

๐™ธ๐š—๐š๐š›๐šŽ๐š๐š’๐šŽ๐š—๐š๐šœ
* 500gr - 1kg of catfish steak or fish of your choice
* Minced garlic
* Chopped half of medium red onion.
* 3-4 small tomatoes
* 1 elephant ear stems, thinly sliced
* 3 lady fingers, cut into smaller pieces.
* 4 tbsp of tamarind paste (please adjust depending on how sour the paste you use)
* 3-4L of water
* Fish sauce and sugar or sugar substitute to your taste
* Thinly sliced red chilli padi
* Rice paddy and Sawtooth herb, thinly chopped (optional)
* Bean Sprout (optional)

๐™ธ๐š—๐šœ๐š๐š›๐šž๐šŒ๐š๐š’๐š˜๐š—:
1. Clean and wash the fish with salt. I got cleaned and packed fish so I didn't need to do the dirty work ๐Ÿคฃ
2. Cut into smaller steaks and marinate with 2 tbsp of fish sauce, pepper and minced garlic. Cover and leave in the fridge for 2 hours.
3. On a medium heat, add some oil of your choice. I usually use olive oil. Add chopped onion and minced garlic.
4. Stir fry for 1-2 min till brown then add the fish steaks. Fry them slightly until the fish flesh is firmer so that they won't break when you cook in the soup.
5. Bring to boil, add tamarind paste and let simmer for 5 min
6. Season to your taste with fish sauce and sugar or sugar substitute.
7. Let it simmer on a low heat for 10 more minutes
8. Add lady fingers and chopped elephant ear stem. Let it simmer for another 5 min and its ready to serve.
9. On a seperate saucepan, add oil and fry minced garlic till golden crispy.
10. Add chopped herbs, chili padi, bean sprouts and top with some fried garlic when served.
11. This is super delicious eaten with white rice of rice noodles or even just with the bean sprouts ๐Ÿ˜‹

Try it out and let me know how it goes for you. Good luck and have fun!

Bone Marrow fan?

In Vietnam, bone marrow is not that expensive and we can always get them easily from a Pho store. They usually cook the bones for the broth.

But here, look at how well it's presented? Never know it can look this nice ๐Ÿคฃ

By the way, Bedrock has really good Mac and Cheese, must try and I personal enjoy their onion soup too. Do check them out ๐Ÿ˜Š

Hello everyone! I'm the kind of cook that does not like to follow recipe because I love creativity. This dish is my new recipe and it kind of fusion so I don't know what to call it. Maybe spicy stewed chicken. I used dried Chili and shallots paste to cook. It tastes unexpectedly good and I will definitely make it again.

Here is the recipe if anyone is interested:
๐Ÿ”1 kg of chicken, cut into small pieces

Marinated sauce:
1tbsp of light soy sauce
1tbsp of oyster sauce
1 tbsp of teriyaki sauce
1tbsp of minced garlic
Some black peeper
Marinate the chicken for 1hour before cooking
1medium onion, finely chopped
1 handful of dried Chili, soaked in water for 1-2 hours before cooking. Cut each chili into 2-3 pieces

On a heated skillet, add 1 tbsp of olive oil, throw in onion and dried chili. Stir and cook until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

On the same skillet, spray some olive oil, pan sear the chicken until golden brown. Bring to boil on a medium heat.
Add the onion and dried chili into the marinated sauce and blend until smooth. Pour this mixture into the chicken skillet. Cook on a medium heat for 10min and reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for at least 30 more min. The sauce will be very flavourful.

Try it and let me know how it goes. Good luck and have fun! ๐Ÿ˜˜
