Excited to see a great turnout for the Community Day Parade. Thank you to all the supporters walking with us today. I can’t wait to see everyone along Main Street in a few minutes!

I am looking forward to seeing everyone this Saturday at Lonsdale Community Day! We will be walking in the parade at 1 pm and if any one is interested in joining us and showing your support we would love to have you! We are unit 41 and the line up begins at 11:30 am. Hello Lonsdale Community!

My name is Brian Wermerskirchen and I am announcing my candidacy for the special election that will be held on November 7th, 2023 for the open Lonsdale City Council seat.

My family and I have called Lonsdale home for over 20 years. I have been serving as a member of the Economic Development Authority (EDA) advisory board for the city since January of this year. Serving on the EDA has allowed me to see the opportunities, and challenges, we face as a city. After receiving much encouragement, and with the support of my family and friends, I have decided to run for the open Council seat to serve our community further. I believe that good government reflects the voice and desire of the people, I take that belief very seriously and pledge to reflect the needs and voices of you, the people of Lonsdale.

I am proud to be a member of this amazing community. I have been blessed to be able to watch the city grow and be a part of a city that supports and cares for each other so much. As part of the City Council, I will strive to make sure we continue this history. Lonsdale is a special place with the best people in Minnesota and I hope to earn your vote to continue the path of growth and prosperity of this great place.
