Individualized Coaching for Runners
Alright, I'm finally back and ready to roll. I haven't run in about 10 days and I don't even recognize myself! π€¦πΌββοΈ Overall, life's been going well and I've been feeling great! Except last week I spent a lot of time in doctors offices with a double eye infection, a sinus infection, then my dog got a UTI. Things recovered by Friday and then we dove headfirst into one crazyyyy, slightly traumatizing but insanely fun weekend (right .delgado π) I let running take a backseat. And I'm letting that be ok.
I know consistency is key though and I'm feeling ready mentally and physically to get back to some harder training. And if you didn't know - I'm running the NYC marathon in the fall!
Today I ran a 4 mi easy run after work @ 9:11 pace. ππΌββοΈ

LFG π₯
I canβt believe race day is here!! Iβve been training for this race for 20 weeks. TWENTY. Basically since I was allowed to start really building miles on my hip (had surgery on Oct 12, 2020)
I barely missed a run. I very rarely cut workouts short. I cracked down on sleep and nutrition (but still had some fun because life! ππΌ) I worked hard through therapy to gain mental clarity. I can honestly say I gave this cycle my all. I may have trained myself, but I had a village behind me. Iβm SO thankful for everyone who helped me and supported me through the last few months. My friends, family, athletes, coworkers, patientsβ¦the support has meant more than you know!
Itβs been almost 4 years since I crossed a marathon finish line. This last year has been a very hard one. But tomorrow, Iβm leaving it all on the course. No matter what happens, I know Iβm worthy to be here. I know Iβm ready. I know Iβm enough. And I know I am loved.
Thanks for being a part of my journey πππΌββοΈπ
