We have seen this hashtag trending sa twitter, even sa facebook. What does it mean to be woke po ba? Yung woke, as we know, literally means awake, di po ba? But when used in the internet, it’s a slang word which actually means the state of being socially and politically aware. ‘Yan po ang pagiging gising or mulat natin sa kung anuman po ang nangyayari sa ating bansa right now. If I am going to ask you if aware po ba tayo sa current events, would you be able to tell me that you are?
