One month of Beckett James 💕

I can’t believe baby Donahue is expected to arrive in just 3 weeks 🤯 I have no idea where the time has gone but it does mean that it’s almost time to take a step back from work and focus on our little guy this summer 💕

This Thursday is my LAST release before my maternity leave and I’ll be releasing 7 pieces with head to their profile to find out more info on how to shop the pieces 💕

This warmer weather has me reaching for summery textures and clean colors 💙🐚

A few days before this piece was supposed to go live I had a late night urge to change it up.
Not sure if the pregnancy hormones are the culprit for the sudden need to change it or for painting it how it was originally 😂 (swipe to see the original)

Either way I’m thrilled with it and happy it found its new home in Texas 💙

👋🏼 kicking off April with a little introduction since there are there are lots of new faces around here!

-My name is Rachele and I am a RN turned self taught mixed media artist.
-I live in Newburyport,Ma with my husband, Brad and our English Cocker Spaniel, Sybbie. 🐶
-We are expecting with our first, a baby boy coming in July 👶🏼
- I am obsessed with coastal living- the beach, the ease of it, the feeling you get but sometimes find the literal interpretations of coastal art/design not to my taste and that’s where the inspiration for my work started.
-My goal with my work is to flip the ideas you have of coastal art on its head by taking “classically coastal” items like shells, rope, linen etc and turn them into something new and a bit more contemporary. Works that could fit into your beach house or city apartment but still offer little reminders of the sea 🌊

You have been loving the shell hydrangeas 🙏🏼 and I’ll be focusing on those a lot this month then I’ll be switching gears just a little to test out some new ideas swirling in my head *hint hint*

Not going to lie, a ski vacation does not hit the same while pregnant- no skiing or hot tubs for me this year but grateful for all the family time and dreaming of the day when we can get the little guy on the slopes ⛷️💕
