I stopped by Cass Tech in to pick up distance learning packets for the children. Thank you to all of the school district staffers & volunteers across for ensuring that everyone in the community has food and kids can learn during this unprecedented time.
Jackson Public Schools is distributing between 35,000 and 40,000 meals each week to children in the Jackson community. It's a big order to fill but we applaud the school staff and Taher, Inc. Professional Food Service Management for their efforts to feed hungry kids who are out of school due to COVID-19.
