Fun Fact: I’m the Fundraising Director for Georgia Miss Amazing! Today I volunteered and helped set up for our event, which is TOMORROW!!!🫶💕 We also had the coolest Pizza and PJ party with our participants, and made bags with little goodies they could take home to enjoy! So much love for this organization and so so ready for tomorrow!!🤍

Who Inspires Me?
Being the youngest in my family gives me tons of role models to look up to. My grandma, mom, aunt, and 2 older cousins provide me with tons of advice, outfit ideas, and help me through the highs and lows of life. I’m so grateful for them and all they do for me, and hope to be this for the next generation!🤍

Pageant Tips & Tricks✨
1. Try on tons of dresses and colors to see what you look and feel good in! And choose the one that makes you feel the most confident!❤️
2. To make your shoes less slick, scuff up the bottoms on concrete
3. Pack tons of extra bobby pins, hair ties, safety pins, skin tape, and earring backs. You never know when something will break or come loose, so it’s always best to be extra prepared!

Happy (late) 1st Day of Spring!🌸✨
Yesterday I started a new job teaching kids tennis, and it was so wonderful being outside in the sunshine and cool March air! I also attended another event for my work and got to learn pickleball. How cool is that?!

Favorite Thing About AEM: How supportive all the girls are, even from a distance! I haven’t met any of the other delegates yet in person, yet I already feel so welcomed by all of America's Elegant Miss ! From the staff to the other contestants, everyone is so kind, encouraging and welcoming! I can’t wait for May to meet everyone in person!!❤️🤍🫶✨

What do I want to be when I grow up?
As a Junior at Georgia College & State University majoring in Marketing, I’m planning to use my degree to enter either the Sports Marketing or Social Media Marketing field. I love being creative and using my skills to help companies promote and create awareness surrounding their brand! I also love using graphic design to help create promotional campaigns, flyers, and drive traction to various events!🤍

Today for the America's Elegant Miss March Social Media Challenge, I will be sharing/explaining my platform: The Need To Give❤️🩸
focuses on the importance of blood donations, specifically with the American Red Cross who I am a for. I volunteer at monthly blood drives, setting up/maintaining the canteen station, checking in donors, and discussing the importance of their donation. 🤍
I became involved after donating the first time at my high schools blood drive I was volunteering at. A few weeks later I received 3 cards in the mail of who MY blood donation went to help save. Seeing the firsthand impact I was making inspired me to start my platform, become more involved, and encourage others to give! 🩸🅰️
Here’s a few facts that I try to share with donors to keep them coming back, as well as to help convince new individuals to give:
- Every 2 seconds, someone in the US needs a blood donation
- 41,000+ blood donations are needed EVERY DAY
- Less than 10% of those eligible to donate actually do each year

Why is Volunteering Important?
Volunteering is the act of helping and serving others, without expecting anything in return. I have found my passion for volunteering with the American Red Cross and spreading awareness for my platform, ❤️ Volunteering is a way to connect with communities and make a difference, even by doing small acts of kindness. It only takes 1 act to change the world, and it can all start with you!
Today I’m volunteering with the American Red Cross, checking donors in and manning the canteen station! It allows the workers to have more time to work with the donors and relieves that extra level of stress from these additional duties!❤️🤍

As one of my 3 volunteer activities for the month of January, I continued taking notes for the Disability Services organization at my school. This month I spent 10.5 hours donating my time, adding to my total of 107.5! I’m so proud and thankful I can do work to help others on my campus and make their learning experiences easier!
