Am a survivor

My Recovery Anniversary

Today marks one year exactly since the day I was shot, a bullet split and separated my face on the 8th of October 2020.

I’m thankful and grateful to God for giving me a second chance, for holding my hand and walking with me every step of the way.
My family, friends, well wishers and funders from all scores, for your prayers, physical, emotional, spiritual and financial support.
Every doctor, nurse, caregiver, hospital general worker you all played different important rolls in your departments-I thank you. May God continue to bless your labour of love and replenish your pockets.

It was and still a challenging phase but Its also be worth it.
Yes i relapse but that's ok, it’s a healing curve..
Yes I worry, I stress and I’m not ok emotionally sometimes because of the trauma but I thank God that I’m still alive.

I’m alive for a reason, to help others who are struggling too- it’s not by might, it’s not by power but by the Spirit of God.

My loved ones may not understand, they’re might be angry, frustrated and wanted a fair justice-me included but drifting my focus will delay my total healing inside and outside-I choose peace!

I do have good days, and bad days,
but I believe the bad days will get fewer because I’m not expecting my pain, bruises and scars to magically go away but they will be manageable.

Yes i felt different at first and I look different outside but I’m still beautiful inside and outside-God loves and cares about me. His grace has given me assurance to be Happier, Healthier, Stronger, and a complete Recovery.

That's why you have to keep fighting, that’s why I’m thankful and forever grateful.
Remember, it’s not over until God says it’s over!
