I still remember the first time I heard this song. I was driving late at night, and it seemed to put into words exactly what was happening in my life at that time. It still kills me every time I hear it. Thanks for creating a piece of music that is so incredible. I hope I’ve respected it 🧡

Not going to lie, I’ve been struggling with lockdown and haven’t been nearly as creative as I told myself I would be. It feels like there’s a lot of roadblocks getting to where I need to be, like most people, and I’ve cried more than I’ve laughed. Still, I’m trying to tell myself that I’m allowed to feel sh*tty, but I’m also allowed to grow from this. And grow I will. I’ll be recording more songs, and uploading them even if they’re not perfect, because perfect feels unattainable right now. Thanks to those that are still listening 🙏

I wanted to work on a new uke song, but it’s being guarded by a monster. Guitar it is! I’ve been off work recovering from surgery for endometriosis, and even though I’m feeling tender and antsy that I can’t go to the gym or go bouldering, I’m also conscious of how thankful I am for a few things - access to healthcare in Australia, downtime to work on new music, and extra time with my love (who has been so amazingly supportive of everything I do 🧡).
