Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi is a Nigerian politician, former Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and present governor of Oyo State.

42 year old woman hacked to death in Oyo
on June 24, 2020

A 42-year-old woman, Mrs Olusayo Fagbemi, was hacked to death in front of her house in Sasa, Ojo’o area in Akinyele Local Government Area, Ibadan, Oyo state today June 24.

This incident comes barely 48 hours after a 5-year-old boy was hacked to death by yet-to-be-identified persons in the same Akinyele local government area.

According to reports, Fagbemi was said to be washing clothes in front of her house when her husband heard a cry for help from her. He rushed out only to find her with several machete cuts and in a pool of her blood.

He rushed her to the hospital where hs was confirmed dead on arrival.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Oyo State Police Command, Mr Fadeyi confirmed the incident and said efforts are being made to get the culprits arrested.

This incident comes weeks after three females, Grace Oshiagwu, Barakat Bello, and Azeezat Shomuyiwa, were killed by unidentified persons in the same local government area.

Update: The Missing Teenager

A 17 year old girl, simply identified as Ayisat was on Monday, reportedly swept away by strong flood at Alapafuja axis of the Surulere Low-Cost Housing Estate following persistent rainfall in the State.

The Cobra Squad of the Agency, continued the search and rescue of this teenage girl today, Tuesday, 23rd June 2020, and after a frantic search, the dead body of the girl was found at Onilegogo canal, Surulere and buried by the community members today.

Woman hospitalized after she was allegedly brutalized by her husband for refusing to abort her 3-month-old pregnancy

A woman has been hospitalized after she was allegedly beaten up by her husband for refusing to get an abortion after she got pregnant for him.



Ronke Adeyemi, 33, who is said to be 3-months pregnant with her second child, was allegedly brutalized by her husband, Bebu Abiodun Abbey, 35, on Saturday, June 20, at their home in Ode-Irele, Ondo State,.



Ronke's brother, Jimmy Adekanle, claims that Bebu beat up his wife and inserted his hands in her private part in an attempt to remove the fetus from her belly.


The couple got married in August 2018 but their marriage has allegedly been plagued with domestic violence.



Jimmy Adekanle said: "Our sister had been complaining to us for a long time about how her husband had been maltreating her over every single issue since they got married.

"We always settle issues for them because there is no perfect marriage but her sin this time around was her refusal to abort her three-month-old pregnancy which she had for him.



"The husband wants her to terminate the pregnancy and since she refused, he went ahead to beat her up and left injuries all over her face and body

The Aunt of the late 5 year old KADIJA is the mother of the RA**ST and they were living in the same house.

The Ra**st first r***d the elder sister of KADIJA (8yrs old) and the aunt undisclosed it to the parents of the girl.

She treated the girl.

The aunt also undisclosed it to the parents.

According to what I gathered from the father’s family (SACCOH) of the late girl, the aunt only informed them about the death of the girl and she wanted to lay her to rest but the father insisted that he wanted to know the cause of the death.

He then urged his family to take the co**se for a postmortem.

The postmortem result showed that the girl was r***d.

The father also instructed his family to take the 8yrs old girl for a checkup.

It was also discovered that the boy has Vaginated her.

What the aunt undisclosed from the parents came out public.

The family of the father reported the matter to the Police.

Both the Ra**st and his mother (the aunt of KADIJA) have been arrested and they’re currently under Police custody.

Update: Couple involved in murder/suicide in Lekki were scheduled to get married in August

The couple involved in the Murder/Suicide incident in Victory Park estate in Lekki, Lagos state on Sunday, June 21, were scheduled to get married this August,a friend has told LIB.

The couple Chris Ndukwe, 39, and Olamide Alli, 25, were said to have been dating on and off for over 7 years. They have a seven-year-old son and then had a second son, three years ago. However, trouble started when Chris began to doubt the paternity of their second child, insisting the child isn't his.

According to the friend, what is quite shocking to them is that Chris was still going on with the plans to marry Olamide in August while he was nursing such a plan. The friend who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Chris had called a comedian a few weeks ago to book him for their forthcoming nuptials.


''There have been an issue that has been coming up about the second child. He planned to get married to her in August. He had told friends about it.
This is the most confusing for everyone. He had called a comedian earlier to tell him he was going to be the MC at the occassion. He had told our older friends that are doctors that they would accompnay him to go do the normal legal rites.'' he said


The friend said Chris and Olamide were never living together.

He said Olamide usually takes the boys to the house to see Chris. He said on Saturday they went for jogging and when they returned, she offered to give him dinner.

Later that night, she went to his room to spend some time with him while her sister was in the room with the boys, and that was when he committed the murder-suicide.
