This is the second of the two boards made for Big Brother Big Sisters of Kansas Bourbon Affair 2024. This is a Walnut based 18x24x2 board with Zabrawood, Cherry, Wenge and Maple accents finished off with stainless steel feet and walnut stands.

Made a couple of boards to be auctioned off at the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas Bourbon Affair 2024. This is a Pecan based board with Wenge, Maple, and Sapele with a matching set of Pecan stands. This one was finished off with the stainless steel feet. Pecan has become one of my favorite woods due to the rich golden color after oiling!

Been away from the shop for a little while, but back in last week to make this custom order for a long time friend from Texas to celebrate his 50th Birthday. Custom logo on the front and happy birthday messages from his wife and kids on the back! Finished off with stainless steel feet.

Made this beautiful 18x24x2 pecan based board with walnut, maple, wenge, sapele, and red heart accents for Corey Payne as a thank you for the large order. The golden color of the pecan really pops out when finished! Hope you enjoy this board as much as I did making it!!!

This 18x24x2 pecan based board was made for .payne.33 as a Thank You for the large cutting board order. Pecan based board with wenge, red heart, maple, walnut, and sapele accents. The pecan is such a beautiful wood when finished out and oiled. The rich golden color really comes to life! I hope Corey has a much fun using this board as I did making it!

This was the largest order to roll out of the SRW shop yet. A total of 35 12x16x1.5” cutting boards in 5 different patterns engraved with a company logo for CP Ironworx to be given to customers and employees as gifts this holiday season! It was a fun project but put my shop to the test! Thanks to for all the help with this one!

This a beautiful 18x24x2 Cherry based Brisket board with pecan, walnut, wenge, maple and red heart accents. This was purchased chased by a friend as a gift for his some who loves to tailgate or entertain at home on game day! The red heart and wenge together made a solid combo for a Georgia Bulldog grad! Hope you enjoy the board! Finished with Walrus Oil cutting board oil and wax.

This Board was a gift for my Aunt Elizabeth. Hickory based board with maple, cherry and walnut accents. This is a 12x12x1.5 board with feet and routed handles. Nice size board for someone with limited counter top space.

Been a busy week already in the shop. What you see here is a total of eleven 15x20x1.5 cherry & walnut based boards with sapele, maple, cherry & walnut accents. These are clamped up for 24-48 hours (longer the better is my experience) before they get planed, sanded & finished. More to come as this order progresses!

This 20x30x2 pecan based brisket board is unlike anything that has come out of the SRW shop! The golden brown color of the pecan balanced nicely with the sapele, maple, wenge & walnut accent strips. The stainless feet and customized engraving really took it over the top. So proud of how this one turned out!

Here’s a beautiful cherry based board with walnut, maple, and bocote accent strips. This is the first hyphenated name that we have engraved. Will be a great wedding present for the recipient!

Customer ordered this 20x30x2 board as a gift. They wanted a juice groove and man do I hate doing these! It’s turned out well………but I still don’t like doing juice grooves!

Beautiful hickory based cutting board with cherry, walnut, and zebra wood accents made for one of my closest friends as a gift to his mother for her birthday. I love the color and weight of hickory.

Finally get to post this set of twins. They are Christmas presents from my Mother-in-law to her sisters. Life happened around the holidays and we couldn’t get together to get these unwrapped and I wasn’t about to post and spoil the surprise! These are Cambia Ash based with maple, red heart and yellow heart. This accent configuration is pretty popular amongst KC Chiefs fans and mimics the stripes down the outer seam of the uniform pants. Katie outdid herself again with designing the engraving in the lower right hand corner.

Another beautiful board coming out of the workshop for a special couple. This board was a wedding present for Katie’s cousin and his new bride! Walnut base with maple, mahogany, cherry, wenge and padauk accents. Katie picked out the pattern and created the laser engraved personalization. This one is one of my favorites (but I say that about every single one that comes out of the shop!)

Made this Noodle Board for a friend and former boss as a birthday gift for her mother. Explored using a new technique of a double herringbone design in the board. Base is cherry with walnut and maple accents. Herringbone center stripe design is sapele, ambrosia maple, and spalted hackberry separated by thin strips of wenge. Pretty proud of this one!

12x16x1.5” hickory based board with maple, sapele, and wenge accents. I love the weight and look of the hickory boards. They are one of my personal favorites to build!!

20x20x1.5” pastry board created for a long-time friend in Georgia! Cherry base with maple, walnut, cherry, and wenge in the middle. Such a fun build and I learned a little along the way about making pastries!
