Inspired by the live album “shadows and light” by Joni Mitchell, this concert explores some of the tunes on the album and various works by the artists who all collaborated to create such a groundbreaking concert. The original concert lineup featured: Joni Mitchell, Jaco Pastorius, Michael Brecker, Pat Metheny, Don Alias and Lyle Mays.

This performance features:
James Luke - bass, Rachael Thoms Music - vocals, Lachlan Coventry guitar, Thomas Fell - saxophone and Chris Thwaite drums.

On Sunday 18th September 4-6 pm, we are going DOWN UNDER at Tuggeranong Arts Centre. As well as playing classics from the jazz tradition, this Sunday's program includes songs from the Blue Note catalogue and songs inspired by water! It's a diverse and soulful program featuring Hugh Barrett on piano, a nationally celebrated jazz pianist and a rare treat for Canberra audiences.

The Fringe of Squaredom joins forces with Tuggeranong Arts Centre to bring jazz to Sundays in Tuggeranong! Kicking off Sunday 23rd of May, we're absolutely thrilled to introduce our killer band, featuring master conga player/percussionist Sinuhe Pregnan - Pacheco...

Born in Santiago, Chile, Sinuhe has been playing congas since he was a teenager. He studied Afro-Cuban percussion at the prestigious Institute of Arts in Havana and with many Cuban percussion masters.

We can't wait to hit the stage with Sinuhe and for you all to be blown away by his energy and artistry!
