The had to pitch their ideas to the other classes and then these students voted which would be the best restaurant idea for Perry County. What an outstanding real-world project for our students!
Forty-five students attended 'The Business of Baseball' at the Harrisburg Senators where corporate executives spoke about finance, sales, marketing, landscaping, operations, and what it takes to run a minor league baseball season. Students learned that there are so many jobs available in the Sports Entertainment Field besides just being a player. They then stayed for the game which many of the students have never had the opportunity to attend a Senators game before. What an outstanding opportunity & experience for our students!
