(Post 7 of 7) Despite the brutal winter weather conditions, the bridge over the Sava River was completed on 31 December at approximately 1000. About 2 hours later, an M1A2 tank from Troop A, 1/1 Cavalry, was the first of many TF Eagle armored vehicles to cross it into Bosnia and Herzegovina. This Bridge Crossing enabled TF Eagle to begin its mission on time and, ultimately, complete its peace enforcement mission.
