The Rosedale Debate Club envisions a society where our school provides speech and debate programs to help students develop their communication, teamwork, critical thinking, confidence, English proficiency, and creative abilities.

Mission –
Our main mission is to prepare young people with the speaking and listening skills, as well as cultural understanding, that they need to succeed. Rosedale International School believes every child should have the ability to express themselves. Hence, our debate and public speaking programs help young people connect with the world, gain confidence in speaking, and listen to and acknowledge different points of view. Being part of the debate club will enhance speaking and listening skills and academic achievements, as well as a broad range of social, emotional, and interpersonal skills that are becoming increasingly relevant in the workplace.

Objectives –
• To provide a significant training facility for the development of the students' communicative abilities.
• To give students the opportunity to practice and share their skills development.
• To construct learning environments where students gain proficiency through the application of sound educational and communication theories.
• To provide judges who will make decisions based on academic objectives and provide feedback that will assist students in achieving those goals.
• To broaden international horizons and strengthen awareness of important national and global issues.
