Staples decided to make me "customer of the month" after spending oodles of $$ because of Seraglio. Who would have thought a corporate borg would be so inclusive? It warms my heart!

The UCSB Middle East Ensemble is inviting advanced- professional dancers to audition for a position in the company. Men and women are both encouraged to join! There are lots of performance opportunities (both theater-based and non-theater-based venues) and a chance to learn a broad spectrum of Arab, Turkish, Persian, Egyptian and Lebanese dances. A new series begins this coming Wednesday, 5:30-6:30 at the Schott Center, Santa Barbara City College! 4/3 -5/8. We will work on Turkish Cabaret with Karsilama, (9/8 - Roman style) including a short fun choreography! Bring zills/finger cymbals and a full skirt!
