No, you aren’t seeing double. The Wyoming National Guard recently celebrated a unique moment as Command Sgt. Maj. Edmundo Herrera (right) handed over his unit to his twin brother, Command Sgt. Maj. Edwardo Herrera.
The June 27 event at the Wyoming State Capitol marked the first time that twin brothers in the Wyoming Army National Guard held the same high-ranking position consecutively.

We have lost an American hero.
Clarence E. Sasser passed away Monday at age 76, according to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.
In 1969, President Nixon presented him with the Medal of Honor for his actions above and beyond the call of duty as a medical aidman in Vietnam a year prior.
Honor him by reading his citation that we've posted in the comments.

U.S. Army Garrison Fort Buchanan hosts joint services reserve components representing the U.S. Armed Forces in Puerto Rico.
Serving Soldiers, Civilians, and the community, its twenty rainwater harvesting units can generate 150,000 gallons of drinking water for the military installation.
During a Telemundo interview on World Water Day, Dr. David Santiago, the installation's Environmental Division Chief, highlighted Fort Buchanan's water harvesting capabilities.

Arctic Aloha is a joint Army and United States Air Force exercise designed to prepare the 11th Airborne Division’s paratroopers for decisive action operations in the U.S. Army Pacific area of responsibility and validate the ability to establish an intermediate staging base in the Pacific and follow-on joint forcible entry in the Arctic environment.

A sky high reenlistment! ✈️
Brig. Gen. Roger Deon Jr. administers the oath of reenlistment to Staff Sgt. Erin Wade aboard a UH-60 Black Hawk over Fort Knox, KY.
Wade, a 79V-Army Reserve Career Counselor with ARCG, is reenlisting for another six years and plans to make a career of the Army Reserve.
“I want to reenlist to serve my country and continue on helping Soldiers as a career counselor. My husband is a retired NCO so I have some big shoes to fill but everyday he inspires me to keep serving and be there for the Soldiers."
