Wise brain Dumb heart

Poetry for those who want to learn the wise notions of life but are stopped by our own actions.

My poems are like the Romans
Beyond each sector, I try to conquer
Awaits a shield wall
Ready for a war
The biased self rages in its defense of the id
Yet With the majority republic
Raising high
On waxen wings
Around each corner an ambush
A new land
A new facet
Of this ever-growing mind
The weather is growing warmer, as I approach the sun of perfection
In the moments of clarity
I ride to explore, sword in hand
Fearing my colony shall soon fade into a fleeting thought
I Quest along
Riding, Hoping, My words will define
With these facts combine
My mind shall work as I design
Nonetheless, the fear raises as I submit
Ever fighting the decline
As some wars are never to end
Left to tether another march
For the conquest is but a crusade
as the heat rises
It dissolves yet imbedded to thrive
With the betterment upright
It tries to fight the might of the shadow
So that onward we write must write
to keep that light
