Some bad, some good out at Lambs Creek at Pioneer in Menomonie today...

Best round ever at Wildapple Disc Golf course for the MVP Circuit Challenge! Also picked up my first ever tournament turkey!!!! I ended up taking solo 5th(4 way tie for first) by 1 stroke, so close and yet so far! I had multiple birdie putts that hit the cage, so I was right there. Next time I'm taking 1st!

I was up and down all over the course today, but ended up throwing my best score on this course to date. It managed to save me and put me in a solo 5th finish, definitely my highest of the year(possibly last place for "cashing"). Also can't forget about the awesome 830 for the event!!! Not sure if it ended up getting beat but I had a CTP(closest to the pin) that held up for the first half of the day at least, hoping it held all day!

Next tournament is still being decided but I'm excited to see what it brings(wherever it ends up being).

Broke the 800 mark again after being below for pretty much the whole season! The last couple tournaments I was climbing but holding just under the 800 mark. Pretty decent feeling all things considered.

Next year my goal is to be at or above 855 by the end of the season.

Played a tag round at Lafayette today. Had a rough round after the skins match earlier and then working between rounds, but still had a blast. Not to mention getting to witness a sweet ace from Armando.

Went to shoot a casual round Tuesday at Wakanda Park in Menomonie. It was a really hot day with the humidity but was still fun. The course was a mix of short and long pin positions and I shot my best round out there to date. Not only did I finish at only a +3 but I had 4 birds which I'm not sure I've done in a single round before. Even the little milestones are BIG!

Played the Red Cedar Open up in Rice Lake. First time at the course for me and it was a beautiful one! It was a windy morning and I wasn't on top of my wind game I guess 🤣. By round 2 I got some stuff figured out and pulled together a T10 finish. I was only 2 places out of the money this time!

My results from Tower Ridge Open 2023. First round was a heck of a start for me finishing T9. Second round I fell back due to some mistakes on a tricky course that I should have known better than to make and I was in solo 16th. Final round I took a +4 on my second hole of the round and just couldn't pull it back together, even with the birdie to follow the +4. I tied for last place due to my last round blow up, but there is always the next one and I can't wait!
