In 2023, a Civil War broke out in Sudan with millions becoming refugees. I travelled to Chad (Sudan's Western Neighbor) to take US GOV officials to visit refugee camps near the border.
It required a 'bit' of overland travel across the entire country. I've seen alot of Africa and wanted to share a few more pics of my travels...

In combat, it's important to prioritize the casualties who have the best chance of survival. Use the SALT Mass Casualty Triage Algorithm to quickly assess and treat patients and determine who needs immediate care.

When treating a casualty with a gunshot wound, remember to assess for entry and exit wounds. These wounds can give clues about the trajectory of the bullet and help you determine the best course of action.

The MARCH algorithm is a helpful tool for treating casualties in combat: M - Massive hemorrhage, A - Airway, R - Respiration, C - Circulation, and H - Hypothermia/head injury.

It is becoming clear for some that our financial system isn't very strong nor long for this world.
Current events are highlighting for too few what they already know; that our financial system has been suffering major mistakes since 1913, 1971 and 2008.
Gladly more and more Americans are looking to protect their wealth.
For those not obscenely wealthy, this is the challenge of our time.
As time goes on and the programmed faults of our financial system become apparent, Bitcoin is assuming a greater place in conversations and in financial planning.
"Bitcoin to the Moon" may be both metaphorical and literal. Either way, Bitcoin will play a part in everyone's financial future.

In October, I had the privilege of donating my services to train some of the Patriots attending Green Beret Range Day ().
I was impressed not only by the motivation to learn Tactical Medicine but their understanding of its fundamental importance to an individuals survival.
I see more and more individuals understanding the fact that they are their own 'First Responder' and any response beyond the individual is most likely fatally late.
On of the bonuses of teaching at this great event was the fact I was able to bring my two oldest boys. This was the first chance I was able to expose them to such a strong and beneficial community beyond those closely related or work-related to me.
I plan on making sure Trauma Naked LLC continues to support this and similar organizations. True American Civics and Individual survival are built on these social interactions.

It seems that Thanksgiving is often given little attention, compared to other 'Holidays'.
Maybe, since it occurs in-between Halloween and Christmas. Not to mention the other Holidays within that time.
Maybe we, in general, have forgotten to give thanks for what we have. I realize that it can be said we have less to be thankful for this year than the year before. Less every year even.
Objectively that's true. I can agree. Everything from material wealth, to civility, to our own individual rights seem to be just slipping away.
Regardless, there are gifts that we receive daily that we should recognize. May that recognition strengthen the giver and the thankful. Strengthen us for the times ahead. The times together.
I thank you. Thank you for your gift of attention, if nothing else.

It was 2006, as a much younger Green Beret when I last training with Greg Thompson’s TeamRoc .
Learning from Greg once again is an honor and a privilege.
The training is still great and beneficial to my different lines of work.
Attending the Special Operations Combatives Program (SOCP) is already putting me through my paces, and I appreciate every ounce of sweat leaving my body.
It’s going to be a great week!
