All very cool mate. I think it will nearly always be 0.5dB on the low and High bands for dance music work, nice shape it provides. Def got a nice colour to them, rounds just slightly but is also nice and punchy and sits things in the stereo image nicely.

Congrats on the product again, I know when I asked many many years ago if u would clone them that u thought was a big job. Glad u did and stuck with it.

I may even get another set but in 1dB for tracking work down the track."

How does it sound? Niels Lingbeek's first impression:
"Tried it a couple of sources: Like it on vocals, acoustic guitar and Kick (The Studer has big sub low! PMV70X still holds it place on kick, Studer is a bit tighter and controlled sounding). On snare the STU.915.301.500 is a bit to scooped for my taste. I prefer the V672X. I asume it will be a tight call on overheads and hihats between the OV560 and the STU.915.301.500"

dissected his broken NTP M100 op amp and send it in for repair. Rather than fiddeling with the old and broken PCB traces I thought it would make more sense to design a reissue, and here it is, the drop in replacement. I know, the PCBs should be blue ...

Like with all our reissues we only use original components, no substitutes (BC307, BC237, BC327, BC337 & BF115 transistors, BAX13 diodes). We did some minor improvements to the PCB layout, and exchanged that stupid 1µF electrolytic cap with two 470nF ceramics.

Input transformers are Haufe ST8456, Lundahl LL1527, and our brand new Pikatron development RÜP118865.
Output transformers are Pikatron ÜP3288, Haufe RK286, and Pikatron RÜP1265.
Depending on your transformer choice, the new price range for a full OV560 DIY kit now is EUR 245,00 to EUR 340,00 (+ shipping + VAT if applicable).
