Finally making myself something with my own yarn ๐๐
Think it's Merino that I spun up more than a year ago. The initial dyed colours was too light so I redyed the skein. Perrrrfect for a pair of socks!
Fractual spinning - Corriedale, 3 ply, 11wpi
Top dyed by ๐ฅฐ
I will be here on the 26th on November
Come say hallo!!
Market Prep: I spun up a whopping 3 x 100g of this , it's soooo soft and squishy! Weight is between DK and Sport
Current spin - Polwarth.
Hopefully I dyed enough fibre to complete a jumper. This is going to be a 3 ply and it's taking longer than I expected... BUT I'm positive and patient!
3 skeins spun for a larger project. Aran/Worsted, 3 ply.
I've been soooo busy market prep
Spinning up a braid that I dyed a couple of weeks ago - olive green, caramel with black. I'm in ๐
Spinning Yarns Festival!
What an amazing day. Blessed beyond words as I almost sold out.
Finished this bobbin last night, only used caramel and navy... I think the colours complement each other. Not sure if I should chain ply or ply with a lighter variant!?
Current spin
I haven't posted in a while, loads happening but spin I absolutely do when I have 'me time'
Touches of caramel, burnt orange and blue
This one is my favourite so far!
Single spun at 40wpi, on my last bobbin for a 3-ply. I think the colours complement each other ๐
Experimented with just a dash of colour, left loads of undyed fibre. ๐๐
Plan to do a 2 ply with this Superwashed merino
Texture!
Superwashed Merino, 2 Ply
I've dyed enough to spin another skein for a larger project.
