Great Lakes Chi Alpha SALT Winter Conference Weekend 2024... WOW!

God is doing great things in the lives of our college students at CMU and all of the students in Great Lakes XA.

And WOW, when I look at last year's SALT attendance compared to this year's SALT Attendance. 🤯

SALT 2023 = 17 from XACMU
SALT 2024 = 44 from XACMU

It's ! For this Giving Tuesday, XACMU is trying to raise $1,000 in Winter Conference Scholarships & Spring Break Alternative Trip Funds. All money given goes directly to help our CMU students make it to SALT winter conference in January & our alternative Spring Break Trip to Dallas in March. There are a lot of great causes out there... please give back this holiday season. As you consider your giving options, would you consider including the students at Chi Alpha at CMU and our scholarship fund?

XACMU’s Friendsgiving Celebration was tonight. So much fun… so many students 😃… and one great feast!

It’s a XACMU House work weekend. Thanks to some amazing churches in network we are able to re-roof the house. Plus open up the walls of the two bedrooms and re-insulate them. Most winters we have frost and ice build up inside in the bedrooms and bathroom.

We had a CM Life Photographer at our Annual XACMU Glow in the Dark Capture the Flag last night.

GLOW N DARK Capture the Flag Chi Alpha CMU organized their Glow-in-the-Dark games at Central Michigan University, Thursday, Sep. 7, near the CMU seal. The event was the first of many planned by XA CMU for the Fall 2024 semester.

Are you a skier or snowboarder? XACMU is hitting the slopes at Caberfae Peak this Friday! Meet in the library parking lot at 12:30pm and cars will head out at 1pm. Bring your student ID with you to receive a discounted rate.

We had a great time of worship and devotion at this year’s Great Lakes SALT Conference. SALT was a powerful time for our students and leaders. Come hear what God has put on the hearts of our XACMU family as we hear from them first hand.

Let’s celebrate the season! This is our Last Chi Alpha Event of the Semester. Join us Wednesday Night at 7pm in CMU’s Pearce 137 for the Festivities.
